Our Story of Acceptance & Growth

Founded on the belief that yoga is a practice of self-compassion, not perfection — we've been guiding students toward genuine acceptance since our doors first opened in Dubai.

The Journey That Shaped Us

Every milestone represents our commitment to creating a space where all bodies and minds are welcomed exactly as they are.

A Vision Takes Root

Nayeli Thorne opened our first studio space in Dubai with a simple mission — create a yoga practice that honors where students are, not where they think they should be. Starting with just evening classes, we focused on building trust with our community.

Growing Understanding

We expanded our approach after realizing many students carried tension not just in their bodies, but in their relationship with movement itself. This led us to develop our signature acceptance-based methodology that acknowledges the whole person.

Deepening Practice

We moved to our current location at Concord Tower, allowing us to offer specialized workshops and teacher training programs. Our focus shifted toward creating sustainable practices that students could maintain beyond the studio walls.

Looking Forward

This year marks our commitment to expanding our teacher training program and developing new workshops focused on yoga as a tool for self-compassion. We're also planning community outreach programs for late 2025.

What Guides Our Practice

Our values aren't just words on a wall — they're the foundation of every class, every interaction, and every decision we make as a studio community.

Acceptance Over Achievement

We believe yoga is about meeting yourself where you are, not pushing toward where you think you should be. Every pose is an invitation, never a demand.

Body Wisdom

Your body knows what it needs. We teach students to listen to their internal guidance rather than forcing external expectations onto their practice.

Inclusive Community

All bodies, all abilities, all backgrounds — our studio is designed to be a refuge where diversity is celebrated, not just tolerated.

Sustainable Practice

We focus on building practices that students can maintain for years, not poses that impress for a moment. Consistency over intensity, always.

The Heart Behind Our Method

My path to yoga wasn't straight or simple. After years of treating my body like a project to fix rather than a home to inhabit, I discovered that the real transformation happens when we stop fighting ourselves.

I spent the early part of my yoga journey pushing through poses and ignoring my body's signals. It wasn't until I started practicing acceptance — both on and off the mat — that everything shifted.

"The most powerful thing I learned was that healing doesn't look like perfect poses. It looks like showing up with honesty and meeting whatever arises with kindness."

After completing my 500-hour training and specializing in trauma-informed yoga, I realized how many people needed a different approach — one that honored their whole experience, not just their flexibility.

Teaching Philosophy

Every student is the expert on their own body. My role is to offer tools and create safe space for self-discovery.

Personal Practice

I practice what I teach — some days my yoga is gentle stretching, other days it's simply breathing through difficulty.
